In San Antonio, we have three exceptional trainers who bring their wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. Let’s meet them:


With a background in physical and massage therapy, Beverli found her calling in Service Dog training. She believes in the powerful connection between dogs and humans, using it to enhance the quality of life for both. Beverli empowers individuals with physical or emotional scars, helping them navigate life’s challenges with the support of a four-legged counselor and friend.


Cherry’s love for dogs started at a young age when she would walk four miles to the local shelter every Sunday to assist and train. Her personal experience raising mentally challenged children has given her firsthand understanding of the care and support needed for individuals with emotional needs. Cherry is dedicated to providing the guidance and compassion necessary for both dogs and their handlers to thrive.


An esteemed USAF veteran, Lawrence has been training dogs since 1989. As a Mine Detection Dog Technical Advisor in Afghanistan for the U.S. State Department, he trained, evaluated, and certified dogs and handlers for various uses and needs. Lawrence’s journey has been shaped by personal experiences, including being a stroke survivor who battles PTSD and diabetes. His commitment to Service Dog training stems from a deep understanding of its potential to transform lives.

West Texas – Amarillo, Lubbock (2)

Moving on to West Texas, we encounter two trainers who bring their expertise to the Amarillo and Lubbock areas. Let’s meet them:


Raylee exudes joy when surrounded by massive dogs who believe they belong in your lap. With a background in Kinesiology and a nursing career, Raylee’s affinity for canines led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Canine Studies from Bergin University. Her passion for fostering and training dogs, coupled with her expertise, makes her an invaluable asset to the Service Dog Express team.


Hannah embarked on her journey in canine health and obedience in 2020. Alongside her dedication to fostering and training dogs, she currently cares for three special needs dogs. Pursuing certifications and a doctorate in Occupational Therapy, Hannah aims to empower Service Dog teams in achieving day-to-day goals and contributing to the well-being of individuals.

Austin, TX (1)

In Austin and San Antonio, we have Claire, whose life has been intertwined with dogs. As an Air Force Brat with a degree in Business Management and Animal Behavioral College training, Claire possesses a deep understanding of how Service Dogs can enhance a person’s quality of life. Her compassionate nature and expertise make her an invaluable member of the Service Dog Express family.

Beaumont, TX (1)

Heading to Beaumont, we meet Niesy, a dedicated trainer who earned her BS from Sam Houston State University and is a CPDT-KA. Niesy serves as the President, Instructor, and Evaluator for the Southeast Texas Paws 4 Love, a non-profit group of therapy dogs and handlers. As someone with limited hearing and considerable training experience, Niesy deeply appreciates the incredible impact Service Dogs have on their handlers.

El Paso, TX (1)

In El Paso, Terry stands out as an experienced dog trainer with over 25 years of experience as a Law Enforcement Officer and Canine Trainer. With a Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Terry’s vast knowledge extends to various areas such as narcotics, human trafficking, and basic obedience. Terry’s genuine dedication to his craft and personal experiences make him a valuable trainer.

Houston, TX (1)

Houston welcomes Natalie, a Houston native fluent in American Sign Language. Having personally dealt with panic attacks, anxiety, and PTSD, Natalie has experienced firsthand the profound impact a Service Dog can have on one’s life. Her goal is to share this transformative experience with others, providing them with the support they need to navigate life’s challenges.

Coos Bay, OR (1)

Traveling to the picturesque Coos Bay, we encounter Laurie, a highly skilled trainer with a Master’s Degree in Canine Life Sciences. Laurie’s specialization in Service Dog Training from ADI-accredited Bergin University for Canine Studies, combined with her background in trauma and the psychiatric field, allows her to offer an exceptional level of expertise to her clients.

Gainesville, FL (1)

Venturing to Gainesville, we meet David, an USAF Veteran with a BS in Cyber Security. David relies on his self-trained Service Dog, Rottweiler “Bubbles,” to assist with mobility and PTSD/anxiety issues. His personal journey has fueled his passion for helping others reach their full potential with the aid of a well-trained Service Dog. David’s empathy and unique perspective make him an invaluable member of the team.

In Kansas City, KS/MO, we find Kayla, a certified CPDT with over 7 years of experience in the canine industry. Kayla’s AS degree in Canine Studies from Bergin University, along with her expertise in positive reinforcement and following the LIMA standards, make her an exceptional trainer. With a diverse background in dog daycare, management, and teaching various training disciplines, Kayla is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of both dogs and people.

Nashville, TN (1)

Last but certainly not least, we arrive in Nashville. Here, we meet Danielle, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer—Knowledge Assessed (CPTD-KA). Danielle has worked extensively with dogs of diverse backgrounds and specific behavioral issues, including those rescued from the Michael Vick dog fighting ring. Her experience as a “Puppy Raiser” and her ability to teach advanced basic obedience and Service Dog-specific skills make her a valuable asset to the Service Dog Express community.
